Uganda to mark Youth Day today
The President will launch the fourth Youth Business Innovation as a move to help youth overcome the effects of COVID-19.

As Uganda joins the rest of the world to mark International Youth Day today, the Government has reiterated its commitment to ensuring that the youth participate in decision-making processes .
The State Minister for Youth and Children Affairs Florence Nakiwala Kiyingi said the President will launch the fourth Youth Business Innovation as a move to help youth overcome the effects of COVID-19.
Nakiwala emphasized that the programme complements the already existing programs for youth such as the Youth Livelihood program, youth Venture Capital fund among others.
She adds that young people are encouraged to take on leadership positions so that their input in decision making to determine the destiny of the country is captured.
