Nobert Mao

Democratic Party (DP) President Norbert Mao is scheduled to be nominated today after the Electoral Commission reportedly cleared him.

Okelor Opio, the DP spokesperson, claimed Mao had been cleared and would be nominated today.

“Our signatures have been verified and our candidate will be nominated today,” Opio noted.

However, the EC had not yet reflected Mao’s name on the schedule of those supposed to be nominated today.

Once nominated, this will be the second time Mao is contesting against President Yoweri Museveni, the first time being in the 2016 elections.
