Minister Musasizi Appointed Ambassador of International Community of Banyakigezi
LONDON: The Minister of Finance (General Duties), Henry Musasizi, has been appointed as the Ambassador of the International Community of Banyakigezi (ICOB).
Minister Musasizi, who also serves as the Member of Parliament for Rubanda East, received his appointment on Saturday 27th July 2024 during the ICOB UK convention 2024 at Hilton London Syon Park.
The convention, which began on Thursday, July 25, 2024, is expected to conclude on Monday, July 29, 2024.
In his new role, Minister Musasizi will coordinate all high-level activities of the International Community of Banyakigezi both domestically and internationally.
Members of ICOB have expressed their excitement about Musasizi’s appointment, noting that he is well-suited to continue the legacy of the late Governor Prof. Emmanuel Tumusiime Mutebile in advancing the activities of Banyakigezi.

The International Community of Banyakigezi (ICOB) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in 2003 to unite and advance the socioeconomic development of all Banyakigezi, both in Uganda and the Diaspora.
They emphasize that losing one’s language, history, and traditions equates to losing one’s identity. ICOB is registered in the USA.
